DEOS Network API Access Request
This site provides access to an application programming interface (API) for data from the Delaware Environmental Observing System (DEOS) Network, which is operated by the Center for Environmental Monitoring and Analysis (CEMA) at the University of Delaware. The API's end points publish real-time data from the DEOS Network, summary data that are derived from aggregated DEOS data, and metadata about the stations and what they measure. This API is ideal for scientific programming and application development, though it is not restricted to any particular use or application. Access to the API is free, and requires registering for an API key. This registration step ensures that we can provide data through the API as reliably as possible to all our users. We encourage you to review the documentation and the code examples at the GitHub repository before developing any software to use the API. These resources are available at: Software Documentation: DEOS Services API Guide GitHub Code Examples: Repositoriy Please pay careful attention to the data disclaimer and suggested citation below. For more information about the DEOS Network, visit https://www.deos.udel.edu. If you have any questions about the API, please contact us at cema-info [at] udel [dot] edu.
